Alberstein is one of Israel's most beloved musical artists, with a career spanning over 40 years. Born in Stettin, a former German city, annexed to Poland by the Allies in 1945 (now north-western Poland), Chava Alberstein came to Israel at age four and grew up in Kiryat Haim.
