About Time is an album by The Stranglers, released in 1995. It reacquaints Alan Winstanley (who was the engineer on Rattus Norvegicus, No More Heroes and Black and White and producer on The Raven) with the band. A string-section is used on several tracks; Nigel Kennedy plays electric violin on "Face". "Lies and Deception" is one of the few songs ever written by drummer Jet Black. "Still Life" has a string quartet introduction. The Album peaked at #31 in the U.K. Charts in May 1995.
