I'm re-visiting their stuff now FINALLY i had the opportunity of buy some of their cds. I feel so thankful for the quality of their music, specially in The Singing Star, that album is a timeless jpop gem.

I listened whole their albums and leaving aside my love for their first five albums, the rest of their discography is a little disappointing, it's still good and there some jams but I'm still kinda upset because they don't remained the same level of quality after Love Unlimited. I had a lot feelings listening their albums but I was expecting more because their early songs are very good classics... Their new songs G & Yes and No are amazing, support them please. But for me it's a 6 out of 10.

Yeah their music kind of lost its magic in the late 90s, I still love some of the songs from their later albums, songs such as SPOON ME, BABY ME., Mascara Matsuge, Love Letter, etc. the ones that have more of an R&B sound are good.

LEGENDS, I got a new group to STAN uwu. It's disappointing they between international fans are so underrate, maybe it's because they're from late 80s. Their music is a masterpiece. I'm Miwa biased, she's the queen of vocals lol. Also, don't forget to stream their music on Spotify for clear skin and improve your music taste uwu.

It made me angry how on generasia, their bio read that Masato is the "overall mastermind behind the group." I was like "um source plz" it seems very sexist, because there is no evidence to suggest he is the ~mastermind~ she writes more lyrics than him and writes the music for their songs almost as much as he does. so I removed that part from their bio. Miwa is queen. I loved going to Ikeda, Miwa's hometown in Hokkaido, and going to the DCTgarden which is basically a DCT museum that's free to enter, full of props and costumes from their tours and such. Miwa opened the museum there to give back to her hometown. what a humble, down-to-earth gal.

I get your point with Kessen was Kinyoubi, the arrangements sound kinda messy at moments.

Their singles/albums are being added to Spotify... right now it seems like it's just stuff from 2001 and before though

i'm trying to get into them by listening to DREAMS COME TRUE THE BEST! watashi no dorikamu. i tend to like their older songs the best. ureshii! tanoshii! daisuki!, Eyes to me, hoshizora ga utsuru umi, anata ni aitakute are all good songs. don't know what's so great about LOVE LOVE LOVE, but it's alright. oh and the lyrics for WINTER SONGS are quite nice.

v you can listen to some of their best of to start :-) You have a cd best of their 2000's releases on "do you dreams come true?" (coupled with an original album, but it's not their best one IMO). For their older releases (1988 to nearly 2000) you can listen to their best "THE SOUL". For their original albums for the moment my fav' are MAGIC, LOVE UNLIMITED and AND I LOVE YOU.
