Murder In The French Quarter was released on August 19th 2014. Egypt Central had already been disbanded for two years (plus an additional year of being inactive).
All band members (John Falls, Blake Allison, Joey "Chicago" Walsner and Jeff James) came together and were personally involved in the release of Murder In The French Quarter.
This album features two brand new tracks (Cliché, Citizen Radio) and five demo tracks from their self-titled album and White Rabbit (Enemy Inside (Rock Mix), Over And Under (demo), Different (demo), Wake Up In Flames (demo), Change (demo)).
The band members have stressed this album is the final chapter to Egypt Central. They wanted to showcase their sound in the most purest form (demo versions), and to show fans how "carelessly raw and perfectly imperfect" their songs can be before being reworked in the studio.
This is the bands final album release.
