Biography
Fireal is an alternative band from Finland, their music known as Imperial – a dark but sweet cocktail of metal, grunge and pop hooks, spiced with samples and beats. Only symbols represent their masked lineup of six, the Inkakai.
Their merits include NRJ Best Nordic Song award (as Bleak), first Finnish co-write with producer Max Martin (Fireal -“Breathe”), choir directing to monster rocker Lordi (Finnish Clash of Choirs 2011); two movie features (Jade Warrior, Priest of Evil) where the latter featured the first Fireal single “The Imperial” and several Top-10 singles from the albums Burns Inside (as Bleak in 2006) and The Dark Side (2011), including “Halo” that was one of the most played songs in Finnish radios 2010.
Fireal returned from a seven year break with “The Smoke” single in 2019. They are currently preparing their third album Unlite.
***
Beyond the dark are men like you.
Weakened by the sun, blind fools.
Cursed by the light, a life untrue.
In the night, the fire Burns Inside.
It guides us on The Dark Side.
One path, eyes open, to the Unlite.
We are symbols, we stay concealed, shades our devices.
We are shadows, we stay unnamed, wraiths in disguises.
We are imperial, we stay unlit, the Inkakai rises.
Accept no imitations – we are the fire.
The Fierce Imperial Revenge Executed Against Liars.
