"I've been making music since god knows when. About a year and a half ago, I discovered Baths. I've liked electronic music forever, but it was a game changer. I started listening to Washed Out, Toro Y Moi, Pictureplane. For the past 6 months, I've been trying to crank out some of my own stuff that didnt turn out to be some crappy electro song or some girly little top 40 copy. This is the result. This is my baby. This is GUIDES."

Grounded yet other-worldly, GUIDES debut 3-song 7” gives the listener just a taste of what’s to come. Musical abstractions as sonic foundations. Wall of guitar blasts meet hazy melodies. Stripped down riffs sounding simultaneously zoned-out yet full of intention. Esoteric? Maybe, but as so many groups throughout history whose seemingly ‘difficult’ music has been embraced by the masses, this is a musical cloud worth reaching.
