“Shotput“ is the lead single to Still Woozy's second studio album, Loveseat, and marks Sven's return to music after a hiatus. The track was released on March 22, 2024, alongside an official music video. The visualizer was filmed in a single take in Portland, Oregon, and was directed by Palmer Morse and Tom Goulet.
Still Woozy stated the following about the song:
“Shotput is a little slice of the myriad of feelings that you feel when you’re falling in love with someone,” he explains. “Nerves, excitement, affection, even loneliness weave their way into the picture when confronted by such an ethereally powerful force.”
